We are a group of three students-Bozhena, Anastasia and me-Nancy. We are going to embark on a journey that is going to take us through the world and business of photography. In my first blog, I will only introduce what photography is all about, its importance and history.

According to these articles we get a deeper meaning of what photography is all about, its importance and even its history. Photography is a form of art, an art which allows you to express your feeling anytime you want to. It is a world where you do not need much talking and instead you let the pictures do the talking for you.
In the second link by Suzanne William, I find very valuable information in to what photography is all about and what it takes to be a good photographer. You have to have certain qualities in order for you to be a greater photographer. First of all, you need to have a good quality camera. Superior photographs come from photographers who know how his or her camera functions, since this is going to be one factor that will determine the kind of photos you are going to make. Secondly, you have to have the knowledge in order for you to know how to adapt your camera to the situation. Having the knowledge within oneself on what to change, on how to correct your settings will prevent you from losing that moment. Thirdly, you have to have the passion, you have to enjoy the process. The passion for photography, the passion for the photograph itself and thus for the subject matter, must communicate itself to the viewer.
Who does not like looking at very beautiful and creative photos? I bet no one since these photos tell very unique stories that leave a lot to be admired. Photography is considered one of the wonderful freelance careers for many photographers. Even if you start as a part time business, you might end up making great income, that at the end of the day you decide to give up your well-paying job and decide to be a full time photographer and earn your living out of it.
